TRIAL FOR ANTI-VIRUS

The internet world is where most of us is more than half of our time. We cannot deny the fact that we NEED the internet. But we also have to accept the fact that speaking of internet, pests like viruses and worms goes with it.

Therefore, the only appropriate thing to do is have protection somehow for our computers. Unfortunately, anti viruses cannot guarantee 100% protection for everyday, a newly founded virus comes about and the rate of finding for cure is not as fast as its birth. What do we do then? Find the best that can cater to our needs. As of the moment, I still go on trials. From Norton, to Symantec, to Kaspersky...to almost every popular anti virus recommended by friends. Now I am into Avira.

What are you using and what can you advice me?

INTERNET...SALUTE!

It is amazing how the internet have affected the lives of everyone. If the cellular phone craze spreads like wildfire from north to south, east to west of the globe the internet followed suit. This technological advancement have made our lives a thousand times easier, and it’s more than just a thumbs up to the founder, but a standing ovation with salute and honoring bow.

Imagine life without the internet...

You have to wait for weeks to have your message or greeting card reach another country, when now you can send it in a few clicks here and there. You are cramming up reviewing for an exam and remembered something you need for another subject’s homework, but you don’t have any reference to it so rush to the library yet to find out about it; now it just in your room, in your PC. You are a music lover and it is common that you collect and collect songs from today back to yester-years, what do you do…go to music torrents and see for yourself lists after lists including file size. In fact it’s not just for music lovers, it is a search engine that caters to bookworms, movie and TV addicts, computer freaks…or I may say, everyone?!

INFORMATION

Information from different sites, blogs, news, reading materials, media provisions or talks gives me idea of what is happening around me. It helps in our daily lives as well, may it be for personal use or career wise. Like that of items for sale that will match my need for things for use. You get information about them in the internet. One would be those nonstick pans that I am hoping to buy once again. It is very useful for my cooking, and I’m hoping to get one real soon. So what do I do? Turn on my PC and browse around. And whenever I find one in the web that interests me…I right away click the “email this page to a friend” who I believe will be needing it as well. It is so easy nowadays. You can view right away “what’s new” in just a few clicks here and there.

Being a woman of the century, I also am interested still in womanly charms like the jewelry. Now when you say gold it’s not just gold, there’s the white gold that I prefer more. And it’s not just metal’s, you have gems and stones that also are very pretty. I also am sometimes divulging in vanities of body care, like manicure and pedicure, hair spa’s and cosmetics. Things from hair ornaments to clothes to panty / undergarments! All these can also be seen from home, you just need to search. In fact, some I’ve seen in Twitter.

Gadget needs are most popularly seen in the web. Mobile phone, black berry, pod, computers and laptops...they are everywhere.

Just beware of copying those photos for copyright is something we all have to respect.

ULTRA FAST INTERNET SPEED

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Charter. All opinions are 100% mine.

Ultra60small
In this day and age, along with the fast pace of life should be a fast internet speed…but what we have here is an ULTRA FAST service that is available at all time! Charter ultra fast 60 definitely will go with my needs with my daily blogging, connection with in and out of the country friends and colleagues, and my movie watching online. This would be a dream come true to do away with my irritation of waiting a mighty long time for a site to load. I love surfing the net, and this addiction cannot be compensated with slow download time.

Cable internet technology is a breakthrough like no other. The needs of the techie people are obviously being met in understanding for the demand for more each day. Year 2010 and a majority of the craving population will be rejoicing as bigger and bigger scope are being embraced by this breakthrough even as you read this. Saint Louis is the first to celebrate it’s born, and spreading like wild fire in Southern California pushing thru northeast. What’s more is the possibility of even HIGHER speed with phatband technology.

Soon, there will be no more counting the seconds as a page downloads. It’ll be a whole lot of fun to be a gamer, to continue watching my favorite TV shows that I have missed in just one click.

With ultra fast internet speed, life will be a little less stressful…because it will all be done without the waiting and the nail tapping.

MOZILLA FIREFOX VS. INTERNET EXPLORER

To a non-techie, amateur in computer terms this would have garnered a lot of time browsing and comparing…but thankfully a computer technician, even a boy only in my eyes have made it quite easy for me by just saying that they are THE SAME only belonging to different companies.

This was brought about with a problem I had encountered with the use of the usually uploaded Internet Explorer. A BIG PROBLEM since it concerns my blogging (I love blogging!!!) And so, yesterday as I seek the advice of this someone named Picard (love his name, don’t you?), he enlightened me with this Mozilla and how much better it is than the other…mind you, IT REALLY IS A LOT BETTER! They are almost the same but this Mozilla Firefox can detect and shun away viruses, spywares and malwares better. In fact it even goes hand in hand with my newly installed spywareblaster which I had downloaded at an advice of another far-away friend Andy to stop cookies from invading my system...they seem to be there every time I ran a scan.

Now, I’m all okay…not only am I safe with all these new stuffs my friends had me downloaded, but it’s a whole lot faster to visit you, post comments and leave messages ;)
