DEVIL WHO TAMED HER by Johanna Lindsey

If I'm not in front of my PC, I am reading a book. And just last night I finished reading this latest read of one of my favorite authors, Johanna Lindsey. For just one day! Simply because it is truly a cover-to-cover read, or hard to put down book.

Devil Who Tamed Her is a romantic novel that have the setting of the early centuries where the titles like Dukes and Duchesses matters. I love being able to travel in time through reading. And this one here have yet again captured my interest upon reading the back cover as I choose amongst other books in Booksale, which I usually frequent when I'm at the mall. It is wonderfully clever of Lindsey to come up with a different twist of a love story. A spoiled, very beautiful debutante was tamed by the most eligible bachelor. Too good to be true...nevertheless not impossible in the world of fantasy.

Nice to be in the fantasy world time and again even for a moment to escape the not-so-easy-to-live world we are in.

How about you...what's your latest read?

CANDACE CAMP

I have to admit that whenever I buy a book (from a bookstore, book sale or garage sale) I look for books written by my favorite authors more so than the story appeal since I trust that it will come out well; but there are also times that they are not available thus pushes me to turn my attention to other authors and by chance purchase something that will suffice. Admittedly, there really are times that I can’t go home without a book tucked in my arms. And so, the wisest thing to do is to at least read the back cover and hope that it is well written.
I can then say that there are MANY good authors. It’s just that many are not given much of a chance by readers. Maybe they are not as publicized as the others, but they are actually good reads.

Gladly, I have given Candance Camp a chance with this one book I saw, A Stolen Heart. And I tell you it is well written. The story has been beautifully laid down before me; a story for romantic fools like me. Promise Me Tomorrow is a sequel, another part of the 3 children’s lives that have became separated from each other. I am sure to find the other, No Other Love, that will complete the whereabouts of each and as to how they will finally find each other.

THE BOOK TAG

I am really pleased with this tag since I truly love reading.
Thanks again to dear blogger friend Risma

Tag says you have to think of 15 books you have read and enjoyed...well, if you scroll down below I have a few of them in a bookshelf that I have read and enjoyed you'll see them. I probably can't recall them all now but I'll do my best to share with you some of the bests. If only I can just tell you which are my favorite authors instead...because the truth is, almost all their books are amazingly in my favorite list.

  1. Da Vinci Code (Dan Brown) goes first in my list. I love his wit and the way he makes you think twice which is real and which is a product of his superb imagination.
  2. Angel's and Demons (Dan Brown) is another book that focuses on codes. I dare say these two is the hardest-to-put-down book I have ever read. This is actually a series of murder and it's thrilling to follow through to know who is the culprit.
  3. Almost Heaven (Judith McNaught) is a romantic novel that makes my toes curl with delight. In fact, almost all of her books are of the sort, and that's the reason she's another of my favorite authors.
  4. Memories of Midnight (Sidney Sheldon) is of the intrigues in life. Reality mixed with fantasy.
  5. Shopaholic Series (Kinsella) is truly fun to read. Easy and light but gives you something to think about.
I'd like to share them all to you...but maybe you can also share some of your own with me then it will match? Tagging some of you, but please feel free to grab and let me know.
