MUSIC MONDAY ~ WORTH YOUR GLIMPSE

WATCH AND LISTEN before you think of moving on. She may not be known worldwide yet, but she is worth being known as much. This lady started from way below...but reached the top. Angeline Quinto, ever first winner of the Star Power raged the country far and wide with her magnificently astonishing voice. See two of my favorites of her renditions...

FIRST (Don't Cry Out Loud) when she was still beginning in her ladder to stardom. Still looking so young, fragile and unsure of herself backstage but with unbreakable voice onstage...

...and SECOND (What Kind of Fool Am I) when she proved yet again that she rightly deserve being declared the winner and be broad casted to the world. She gave me goosebumps, she made me cry each time I listen tothis...and she even broke the speaker with that remarkably high notes. If only there will be a repeat performance of this just so everybody can hear it as it should be. She deserved to be the next to be featured in Ellen Degeneres and Oprah shows. TO SEE AND HEAR TO BELIEVE...SO GO ON, WATCH AND LISTEN!!!

AGREE WITH ME THAT SHE HAVE AN UNUSUAL VOICE! She have what it takes to be a star, she is passionate enough to be able to lose all those pounds and have the look stars must possess in just a few weeks, she is humble from the very start to present, she have grown and is continuously learning. She will be an inspiration to the music industry, she belongs to be in the music industry.

MUSIC MONDAY 20 ~ IT MIGHT BE YOU

This is one of my favorite songs by Patti Austin. The original is beautiful enough but Patti
Austin's version made it all the more favorable to me. It's more full of intensitys, the rhythm is more apt I believe...the totality just gives me the feeling that the song is being sung from my heart.

And this rendition given by one of the contestants of the famous Star Power that I favored the most, K-La is worth a standing ovation. She did it very well that one would think that she is already a professional. Not only does she have a beautiful voice, she have a face people would love to watch in television. I even picture her in the Sunday's most awaited show A.S.A.P. already. Her wit, her charm, her voice...the over-all her is worth more than just being declared the Star Power Champion come February. All 5 remaining contestants have beautiful voices, but not all of them have what it takes to be a star except for two K-La and next in line, Krissel.

Who can ever forget this classic movie Dirty Dancing and the theme song Time of My Life!? It's not merely the song that have traveled the world over and beyond, but the movie that have captured the hearts of the ladies because of this hunk of his time, Patrick Swayze.

I simply can't resist admiring men that dances with sexy appeal! Those that can handle themselves in the dance floor and not with sharp, jumpy movements of our times...but jazzy sways and twists that is not at all girlie but manly to the extreme.

Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing, John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever, Richard Gere in Shall We Dance, Kevin Bacon in Footloose...they are amongst some who have made my smile froze as I gaze at the screen with their dancing.

GOODBYE TO MICHAEL JACKSON

It definitely is a great loss to the music industry...

and personally, it is a sad news I woke up to this morning. He's been part of my childhood. I love his music and hearing them makes me remember my escapades long long time ago.

He's known from every part of the world. From every generation. And I believe that though he passed away...his music will live FOREVER.

SINGING TIME

We love to sing!

What can be more time-passing than the videoke?! You don’t get to notice how time flies as you watch the mic being passed…and join in the singing of one song after another. It is not only enjoyable, but relaxing as well.



And that's what we did this afternoon...we were singing as the rain continued to pour down.
