MUSIC MONDAY ~ WORTH YOUR GLIMPSE

WATCH AND LISTEN before you think of moving on. She may not be known worldwide yet, but she is worth being known as much. This lady started from way below...but reached the top. Angeline Quinto, ever first winner of the Star Power raged the country far and wide with her magnificently astonishing voice. See two of my favorites of her renditions...

FIRST (Don't Cry Out Loud) when she was still beginning in her ladder to stardom. Still looking so young, fragile and unsure of herself backstage but with unbreakable voice onstage...

...and SECOND (What Kind of Fool Am I) when she proved yet again that she rightly deserve being declared the winner and be broad casted to the world. She gave me goosebumps, she made me cry each time I listen tothis...and she even broke the speaker with that remarkably high notes. If only there will be a repeat performance of this just so everybody can hear it as it should be. She deserved to be the next to be featured in Ellen Degeneres and Oprah shows. TO SEE AND HEAR TO BELIEVE...SO GO ON, WATCH AND LISTEN!!!

AGREE WITH ME THAT SHE HAVE AN UNUSUAL VOICE! She have what it takes to be a star, she is passionate enough to be able to lose all those pounds and have the look stars must possess in just a few weeks, she is humble from the very start to present, she have grown and is continuously learning. She will be an inspiration to the music industry, she belongs to be in the music industry.

WRONG TIMING

This is supposed to be a season to be jolly…but tragic events do not make it such for everyone. How can you celebrate the end of the year and welcome the coming 2010 when you lost your house and everything you have saved for in a fire? Or the life of your love one/s has been taken away during the flash flood and landslide? Or of the possibility of such tragedy is within reach as you see Mayon volcano’s impending eruption?

It really is a wrong timing, but death and devastation has no right timing. It is heartbreaking to see lives lost by the bundle either due to natural disasters or man made evilness. What we can do is to extend help in whatever way we can, financial or out-reach programs, or even just your presence to the handling out of goods from donations. That’s what ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya have done and have been doing since typhoon Ondoy.

Have a heart to share as you celebrate the season of giving.

TECHIE IN A TRICYCLE

SAHM’s(Stay at home mom) are commonly lured into watching TV soaps that kept you following day after day, it being a series of cut-off shows that is as addictive as coffee. But I’ve never seen a more passionate follower as this techie lady I saw tuned in to ABS-CBN top rated shows “May Bukas Pa” up until she descends the “tricycle” with “Lovers In Paris”.

Thanks to advance gadgets like this mobile phone with antennae that she’s carrying with her and her grocery bags. She obviously hate missing an episode, and so maneuvers the phone this way and that trying so much to get a clearer reception until finally put on an earpiece to just at least hear how the story goes. Convenient though kindda funny.
