SPORTS IS NOT SEXIST

WHO LOVES TO WATCH SPORTS???

It is not limited to men alone, because women watches sports as well. Yes that's true, and it's not always "because my boyfriend loves the BCS National Championship, that's why I am watching it with him", or that my 4 brothers are insanely in love with Wisconsin Badgers Football therefore will be at Camp Randal as well.

Women enjoy watching the game too. May be because that woman have her own reasons such as having the hots for quarterback Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers therefore is seen again at the Heinz Field awaiting his comeback, or is an avid fan of the Virginia Cavaliers thus unsurprisingly in front seats of the Scott Stadium this October 16, 2010 - November 13, 2010 or probably simply because it is in her veins...that she simply love to watch sports. May it be football, basketball, soccer, or whatever manly games...women also watch them!

SCRUTINIZING A MAN

We ladies have the eyes of a hawk whenever there’s a man worthy of our attention. Is his hair curling already for the cut he is sporting, does his nails have dirt under them or maybe deserves a manicure, did he get all those whiskers off with his shaving,…and is he wearing the right outfit for the event you are in. This is when our being a mother hen to its chicks comes out. We have this urge to take care of him! We want to help him get dressed. There’s the so-called “keen eyes” to what’s right and what’s wrong to dressing up. We ladies almost always know better than men do. Not only to the latest craze or fashion, but where to get them, which is appropriate, which is of good quality and worthy of the value. Leave it to them and they end up getting a poor quality at such a high price.

Then the mother hen gives in to the “toys for the big boys”. Showering him with whatever possible; ranging from the very car or bike to its parts and accessories. In this case, we should know where to get them. Now it’s not so hard because you can find them in the comfort of your home. Shopwiki.com is a dream come true solution to us 24/7 wife and mother, catering to our every whim.

MESSAGE FOR MEN

Been reading write-ups and posts about this VD....

I believe that people are so caught up with whatever it is that will remind each other of giving and receiving love as the reason for celebrating with the others in this certain day...when actually one can do so any day, any time. In fact for me, every day is hearts day. I do not actually go with most by doing so on feb14. BUT then i guess there is no harm in sharing some inputs about it, thus posted one in my AT-A-BLINK entititled A LOUD AND CLEAR MESSAGE FOR ALL MEN OUT THERE.

Hope you have fun reading it here, ladies ;) (...and a way to redeem yourselves, gentlemen!)

“WE’RE NOT EVEN MARRIED YET!”

We have heard of committed men’s most common retort, “we’re not even married yet!”

It can be when they FEEL that they are being “overly” constrained with their drinking sessions with their buddies, “we’re not even married yet and you’re putting me into leash?” Or when they were caught making out with another other than their fiance’s, “She don’t own me…I can do whatever I want. We’re not even married yet!”

I’m not saying “ALL” men…but I hear them from my male friends and friends of friends. And it makes me wonder…what’s the commitment for anyway? And their reason for going into a steady relationship?

Isn’t it to build a foundation for the impending lifelong commitment…marriage? And with them doing such selfless acts, will it be wise for their partner to risk being tied to them not knowing if by that time they will be done with this “freedom”? Will they themselves get fed up with the bachelorhood? Or will they carry-on with the “habit forming” attitude after the honeymoon? Especially the night-outs, and the girls…I heard it’s quite addictive.

Infact in this century, marital problems related to such predicament are getting very common…which leads to separation, divorce or annulment. There were different factors that can point to either men or women…but it seems that a greater percentage can be blamed to independence, and moreso to opposition to that “freedom”. I believ this can be translated to lack in commitment and selfishness.

So next time you hear this “we’re not even married yet” from your fiancé…trust that it’s yet a long way to go before the apple is ready for picking!!!

MEN…

That’ s not suppose to sound biased, okay?

I had a really nice chat with a clear headed man. It’s a simple chit-chat about almost anything…and we touched on magazines. He shared his feeling over it a little, and says these mags were mostly bias over men and women. That almost always, men were discussed as “the bad ones”. Well, of course they are women’s magazine…but I didn’t say it out loud, haha!

Thinking about it, I have not actually read a man’s magazine that have the same content like ours. Most of theirs are about work, cars, guns…and alluring photos of girls. In short, men-things.

Well, for one, will they appreciate girlie things? (Emotions are, for them!) Will they share info’s about their relationships like girls does? Are they as interested to read such things they call “blabbering’s”, vanity, and the like?
