Destructive forces

s much as I’d like to shoo away all these destructive forces of nature that seems to be bugging us all nowadays, there’s just nothing we can do but face life’s adversities thrown to us every single day…and so far the best thing to do is to focus on the positive things these brings about.

Typhoon Ondoy that have tested the faith, unity, and selflessness of the Filipino’s touched the many hearts of individuals in other places. People in differing stature came to help in whichever way they can. Some offered donations and some physically offering help.

Celebrities, common folks, from the rich end or from the poor end of the society became heroes overnight. But it’s not the fame, but the lives that they were able to save that mattered. At a time like this, I am even more proud to be a Filipino. We may be a mere 3rd world country, ours may not be as advance in technology or as rich in resources…but ours have the greatest gold – THE PEOPLE!

I strongly agree with that!

I am trying to generate some support for our daughter. I entered her into a Smile Contest, so if you could please cast a vote for her every day until October 31st it would be so much appreciated. To cast your vote, please go to this link. Please look for Jillian Rylie Cottrill. Thank you very much for all your help!
