WANT TO STOP SMOKING?

My brother successfully did. After years of smoking, he finally accepted the fact that there’s no good in doing so. It makes you at high risk to respiratory diseases, minimizes the tastefulness of food and even robs you of your spare coins that should have contributed to your savings.

It isn’t easy, but he was able to after a struggle with the temptation to go back every time he is with his group of friends who all smoke. Once he faltered, but tried once again and won the battle. His not so secret motivation, exercise. Weight lifting to be more precise. He went to the gym daily, and noticed grasping for breath whenever he sneak a stick or two.

Some foods have been found to increase craving and he tried going low on them. Culprits are acidic foods like alcohol, colas, coffee, red meats and chicken, eggs, cheese, peanuts, walnuts, wheat germ, plums and cranberries. In opposite, high alkaline food helps so increase them. Example of which are oats, raisins, almonds, spinach, beet greens, figs and lima beans.
