WISH...

My 4 year old pretty li'l girl pretends to be Rapunzel everyday. She watch this Barbie story, and Dora the Explorer where in they have long hair which she had been hoping for for so long now.

And for this season of gift giving, whenever she's asked what she wants, without a blink of an
eye will say "long braided hair like Rapunzel", and keeps on repeating it even when you say "what of a kiddie laptop?" Or "what of a playhouse?" Or whatever else you can think of and you know she likes it as well...but nothing can surpass Rapunzel's long braided hair!

So then, I finally decided to go look for a WIG! Will also include a small crown to complete her being a princess. I already have this Cinderella gown that I'm sure she will delight also upon seeing. Whew! What a request from my li'l princess!

SCUBA

i'd really like to try it now!

actually, i love the marine life.

i enjoy watching the national geography.

i think of myself diving and being with them...

but, i can't begin to do it.

whenever i decide to do so,

fear of suffocation follows.

the what if's next.

but, this friend from canada, scott, tells me of his experiences and it makes me want to go to a diving site now and dive! to see different creatures, not too far away from shore. to even witness a school of fish. see unknown creatures like wolffish, etc. if only he's here to go with me...i'll feel much safer knowing he's done it a thousand times. i asked him of troubles in the water, like cramps, and he shared info's that eased my worries, like it can be worked out even if you're under water. Then what of oxygen problems, he then says "that's why you have a diving partner". it all sounds easy coming from him.

i hope i really get to try it! and soon....

FALLING STAR

Last night, I went out into the balmy night. Everybody else in our neighborhood seem to have the same line of thought as I did for they were all out walking inside the village.

The evening breeze outside is even cooler than it is inside the house. Our wind chime bids me to go out earlier as it continues to tinkle together with the gush of wind. And now, I hear chimes from the next house...some wooden, some capiz. It adds to the serenity of the sky.

Gazing up, I tired seeing the different star formations, constellations. The big and small deeper, leo, polaris... and suddenly there passed a falling star! As was in my childhood days, a wish automatically crossed my placid mind.

I wish.....

SUMMER TIME....BEACH TIME!

Clear blue sky.
Bright sunny day.
Hot, but continously blowing wind.
Oh yes, it's definitely summer time!
And that means...BEACH time!

I wish it could have been me there at the photo already...but not yet. Its my sister, at the beach, last weekend. She shared with me her rendevous in Zambales. Splashing in the ever rolling waves, grilling yummy chicken and hotdogs on stick, playing in the sand, basking herself till sundown, day tour in a nearby zoo, and most of all, having fun with friends.

I wonder when will it be me.....

I NEVER THOUGHT...

i never thought i can see myself where i am now.
a place i've always wanted to be.
gentle breeze, beautiful white people, clean air, white snow.
a picture i painted of how my life should be.
as my car sped along the freeway,
flashes of my yesteryears tickled my senses.
not music of serenity but constant traffic buzz was my companion in the highways,
and not lines of trees nor wide expanse of land but stretch of buildings and row houses.
how surprising how fine these sands are
so white, so clean, so nice to feel between my toes.
wearing the skimpiest bikini ever dared
i felt at peace, so blessed..i think i dozed.
but darn..i shouldn't have!
now i am all confused, wondering and can't hardly believe.
the sun have gone and left me
...and did the wonderful dream that i thought was finally given me =(

I WISH...

I wish I started this long ago! I used to write journals in my diary years ago, but long stopped since I lost it with all the moving our family did. Now, I'm getting really excited, and I'm really thankful for a friend who shared about this site. Now, I'll never loose it! I know this is going to be a lot better than my diary...because now I know myself even more than I did before. Of how I love to express myself and my thoughts; of how I love telling what I feel, see, learn; or to share anything that I want to share. I CAN'T WAIT TO GET STARTED!!!
