LONG TIME CRUSH

Am I hypnotized?
I can’t take my eyes off you
A beautiful creation perfected…the product—YOU!

Oblivious to my ever watchful stares
You went on your way
Striding…gliding with that very sexy sway.

My moment froze when you first looked straight into my eye
Pulse raising, palm sweating, I waited for your smile
I held on to that gaze, and melted away when you said “hi!”

Even in my dream I see those thick lashed eyes
Full, inviting lips and a bod so nice
Even those hands, almost perfect…I’m not really surprised.

An architect, they say you are
Great at playing billiards, what I’ve seen so far
If only I can go back to college days to finally let happen my dreams of you and me, as par!

Yes it’s been 13 long years since I last saw you
But to this day I remember you
The beautiful you that makes me long for atleast someone like you…if not you.

WEIGHT REDUCTION

PayingPost dot com has been referred many times among other bloggers. You see buttons, and badges; you even see the site from shout boxes; or being commended by word of mouth during chats or calls for blog advertising. I have been browsing through their website as per suggested, and lo and behold, they really have been doing well. Article after article, and post after post, were being submitted for review.

Articles were pretty interesting and helpful in their site. Just like this one I’ve been reviewing added by Laura P, "Lose Weight Understand All The Details" . Though I find the title to be a little off the mark since the article speaks of the difference between a man and a woman’s point of view in connection to dieting, it cited interesting information. Yes, it is beneficial to understand all the details especially for diet counselors and fitness trainers to fully comprehend on their differences in dealing with their programs, as well as for their needs and reassurances. Lose Weight programs are definitely popular this millennium. Differing diet regimens, exercises and activities were being pursued by the health conscious, and the vain individuals. Men and Women alike strives to have the bulge-free body and sick-free days. Just like me.

EVENING NEWS

I was watching the local evening news earlier, but was not able to stay and finish it. I find it way too disappointing to see what is happening to the morals of the people. The media included!

I can’t help but wonder if it’s the same in every country. Broadcasting evilness more than what is good in this world. Why would one let people see the downfall of another? Or to reveal something that degrades, tarnish, or destroy other people?

What’s more disheartening here is that most people buy it! It’s even like they crave for it. And in doing so, we make it known to these broadcasters that they only need to satisfy that craving and they will get the fame and fortune they are yearning for. At the expense of whoever or whatever that comes in-between.

And I know how heartbreaking for the rape victims to hear the dreaded incident over and over again all over the news; or how depressing for the children to know that others also can see that their father was caught on tape with another woman; or how miserable a mother can feel when she’s being pitied by everyone who saw that her child was maltreated by her very own lunatic husband.

Are these worth watching? Why…for us to condemn others and proclaim ourselves to be a better man? It makes me unhappy to witness such crimes laid down for everyone to feast on. There are so many things happening in this world…and light is preferrable than the darkness, so why not let it shine?! And will it not give ideas to those yet on the brink of doing those evil deeds? Or probably set as a bad example to others, even the children?
Then again...maybe these things also have their benefits. For one, it helps us to be aware of what's happening around us, and on how we can protect ourselves and our loved ones to be the very victim of those crimes. It always is better to go on "prevention than cure"! That, if those people hurt those closest to them , how can they not to those that is not? Maybe these news will remind us to ensure home security, or self-defense.
Anyways, we just have to accept that everything have their advantages and disadvantages. Balance of Nature. We just have to act on them the right way.

PROFESSIONALLY SPEAKING

In my dietetics world, I’ve learned that MOST people, upon hearing that I am a dietitian, images of dull and tasteless food comes instantly to mind. They even cower to dietary assessment for fear of being judged of how they “behave themselves”.

BUT the brave ones to actually seek professional advice concludes…that we NUTRITIONISTS-DIETITIANS, are simply their guardian angels that will whisper counsel during chow times! That it will still be in accordance to their own will and perseverance to a healthy living. And that they will be in control of their actions after the facts had been laid down to them. Just like the medical doctors…they assess, give knowledge of the illness and give advice and prescription, but the patient still have the option to follow or not.

What’s more is that food is a factor to those diseases we seek medical help for. We can very well use food as a tool to prevent illnesses. We can be both HEALTHY and HAPPY. Our daily food intake need not be dreadful. It can be as agreeable, too.

And that’s with the help of your own personal “diet-angels” =)

A LITTLE COMPETITION

I didn’t know how to define the reaction delivered when a “past” friend found out about my “dating” and “seeing someone” activities lately. Since I don’t have a habit of letting everyone know of my whereabouts, it came as a surprise to him that I am not as uninvolved or as inactive he thought I am.

Maybe it’s male ego? Can it be jealousy? Covetousness? Men’s competitive nature?

If before our relationship had been platonic for almost 3 years already, now I suddenly see changes. Interest. Calls, messages and visitations are more frequent now than before.

Haha! It’s pleasing to be chased after a second time around…=)

“SEE EACH OTHER”

I prefer to call it “seeing each other” and not dating all the time. I do go out once in a while, I sometimes date, but sometimes just “see each other”.

“Seeing each other” is basically very light dating. Grabbing a bite to eat or have coffee for just an hour or two. Comfy getting to know each other…, finding out if we can be at real ease in each others company, and if there’s a possibility for the next stage, which is dating.

In dating, if before it’s mostly crowded places and day time endeavors…now he’s worthy of night outs and quiet places. More intimate settings and well-prepared dress-ups are considered.

This preferred arrangement not only save my time and effort, but also ensures my safety. I can’t very well just trust anybody asking me out, can I? “Seeing each other” has an easy way out to unwanted companions as well, and dating gives you more time to savor the companionship.
