SCANDALOUS LOVE

Centuries ago, people follow rules that are governed by the norms of the society. People abide by those rules if one does not want to be an outcast, whether you enjoy doing things they do…or simply being the person you are not just so you can live with that circle. But there is this one lady, Nicole that was not borne to be the timid lady one should be in those times. She stick with what she believe is right like marrying for love and not the usual family arranged marriage, to which the consequence is to hide inside their home and accepted being a spinster for good after running away the day of her supposed marriage.

But while there is life, there is hope. And so her daring nature still took her to that man that craves for something other than the boring ladies; the best available bachelor that was captured by her wit, her beauty, her free spirit…her totality as a woman. So many interesting bits happened to complete their story that I had to read cover-to-cover. Scandalous Love if Brenda Joyce is one of those books that made me really happy to have seen in the shelves of Booksale. You just got to read it and be as hopeful that I can find another book as such.

UNSTOPPABLE ME

I again had an attack yesterday of reading non-stop. Well, actually I stopped a while just to post here and visit a few friends, but that's it. It's like there was an invisible string attached to me and I was being pulled back to my room and grab this book of Sidney Sheldon "A Man To Call My Own".

A side of me have this ladies notion of Cowboys being superbly manly and romantic. Picturing them in my mind I see tight fitting jeans, boots and stetson hat. It may be a little old fashioned but it's like fairy tale, prince charming is possibly existing. And magnificent at all times because he have his eyes focused on you. And a different setting makes it exciting to the imagination. Sheldon have almost made me delete the boundary between reality and fantasy with his words. The story have circled around two striking beauties, twins and a desirable Cowboy bachelor.

Romantic, nerve wrecking action-filled book that is truly worthy of your day. Yeah, I finished it in one day! That good ;)

CANDACE CAMP

I have to admit that whenever I buy a book (from a bookstore, book sale or garage sale) I look for books written by my favorite authors more so than the story appeal since I trust that it will come out well; but there are also times that they are not available thus pushes me to turn my attention to other authors and by chance purchase something that will suffice. Admittedly, there really are times that I can’t go home without a book tucked in my arms. And so, the wisest thing to do is to at least read the back cover and hope that it is well written.
I can then say that there are MANY good authors. It’s just that many are not given much of a chance by readers. Maybe they are not as publicized as the others, but they are actually good reads.

Gladly, I have given Candance Camp a chance with this one book I saw, A Stolen Heart. And I tell you it is well written. The story has been beautifully laid down before me; a story for romantic fools like me. Promise Me Tomorrow is a sequel, another part of the 3 children’s lives that have became separated from each other. I am sure to find the other, No Other Love, that will complete the whereabouts of each and as to how they will finally find each other.
