IT’S NICER TO BE A STUDENT THESE DAYS

How I miss college days, sigh! It has been more than a decade and at times I reminisce the days that we are in the university campus either studiously studying for the upcoming finals or just hanging around. Even those cram times in finishing the thesis or the rushing in the library for an assignment, a group work or a presentation.

Yes, the libraries where we have to photocopy a whole book at times just so we have a copy of our own, the book being truly hard to find or too expensive to buy. And now I learned of these renting of text books. How easy that would have been! I am not as picky that it is alright to have used college textbooks. After all what matters is the content, plus most of them are almost as good in shape as brand new ones, like some of mine that I used to keep in my locker and just gets out when there is an upcoming exam.

The great thing about this is now we can find them through the net, no need to go bookstore or library hopping; and they deliver it to you by mail. So much help can be given to the students of the generation with this access. With this thought, it is encouraging to sell used textbooks. Not only can we help millions of students worldwide, but also help clear our stacks of books we are not using in our crowded shelves.
