Reminiscing Miss Earth 2008, Karla Henry of the Philippines had been chosen amongst the 85 delegates last November 9, 2008 at the Clark Expo Amphitheater in Angeles City, Pampanga,Philippines. It have been a pride carried by the Filipino’s up until the Miss Earth 2009 when she have once again shown her beauty in her last walk as reigning Miss Earth last November 22, 2009.

ss Earth 2009 Brazil’sLarissa Ramos. She was the first ever to wear the newly designed $100, 000 worth crown.
Our very own Sandra Seifert was crowned Miss Earth Air along with her Best In Swimsuit and Best in Long Gown titles. Her beauty captivated the audience but her wit enthralled them even more with her response when shown photographs depicting environmental issues. Choosing water pollution, the 25 year old nurse Seifert said “We are the root of all these problems. But the good news is, we are also the solution. We can make the change now. Now is the time for leaders to be born. Let us embrace this mission, and become creative in solving our problems.” A thunderous applause from the audience garnered these words.
