My little girl hates sleeping, and so would not sleep until she can barely open her eyes anymore. Thus, she naps at the most inappropriate time, 6pm and wakes up 2 hours after and sleeps again in the wee hours of the morning; the reason why we get to stay later than everybody else. While she plays with her doll house, as she always does every single day, I watch the television. And at 10pm, Man vs Wilds is on. This is the only time she stops with her whisperings and making her little people move…and watch transfixed with Bear Grills. Yes, she knows him. And she loves the adventure of him in the wilds, just as I do.
Amazing knowledge, true-to-life survival around wild animals, caught in the rapids, atop steep mountains, beside deadly drops, confusing maze-like caves…and all other life threatening places and instances that he and his camera man go to just to show viewers what to do in case you were in such a situation. I wonder how much he is paid for. Imagine putting your life at stake! I saw his face go big when he had bee stings, when he had to drink a cows urine just to avoid getting dehydrated, getting himself inside a dead camel for heat, eating this and that. Truly gross but life saving!
